YOUR QUESTIONS, ANSWERED
Before your consultation.
Does SDC support community mental health organizations across Florida?
Yes. Community mental health is a core area of SDC’s healthcare business consulting. Support can include startup planning, application preparation, Florida Medicaid enrollment, credentialing, payer relationships, and ongoing administrative needs.
Is Florida Medicaid enrollment the same as CMHC certification?
No. Florida Medicaid provider enrollment and Medicare Community Mental Health Center / Partial Hospitalization Program certification are separate processes. Start by identifying your services, provider type, intended payer programs, and reviewing agency. SDC helps organize the applicable administrative preparation within the agreed scope.
What should we prepare for the first conversation?
Bring your organization’s location, ownership overview, planned services, provider types, application stage, and any agency correspondence or deadlines. Begin with business information; do not send patient records through the inquiry form.
Can SDC help after the organization opens?
Yes. Discuss provider-record updates, enrollment maintenance, credentialing, renewal preparation, staff training, and administrative follow-up. Ongoing work is defined in the agreed service scope.
Does every community mental health organization use the same licensing path?
No. The applicable requirements depend on your services, organization, and payer programs. Some operations may also need an AHCA Health Care Clinic license or an exemption review. Confirm the relevant application pathway before filing; the reviewing agency determines approval.
